The Directors and stakeholders of Sol Energy Management Limited have invested into a project in Jaén. This investment involved the acquisition of three, 90kW installations. The installations have been structured into three Spanish corporations that are owned by a BVI company. The site is leased for a period of 35 years and the investment is managed by SEML.

The project was completed in December 2006 and connections to the grid were made in January 2007. The site is generating electricity with revenues flowing from a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Sevillana ENDESA.

The project is expected to generate annually 600.000kWh of electricity and receive gross revenues in excess of 260.000€ per annum.

The energy generated from this project is the equivalent to a saving of 250 tons of CO2 emissions per year and provides power for approximately 160 homes.
